On 29th March 2021 Nova Scotia issued Letters of Interest to candidates who had selected French as their first official language with CLB 9 or higher in all modules- Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
Candidates also had to have a CLB score of at least 7 or higher in English in all four language abilities. A Bachelor’s degree or a program of three years or more at a university, college, trade or technical school completed is also required
Candidates were required to have a valid Express Entry number and meet the minimum criteria to be accepted into the pool. The minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) Score required was not mentioned.
Candidates who received the letter of interest have 60 calendar days to submit a complete application to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). The processing time for eligible applications can be three (3) months or more.
Within six (6) months of receiving a nominee certificate, you can apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for a permanent resident visa. You, your spouse and your dependents must meet all requirements for medical, security and criminal admissibility.
